I'm a huge fan of EA's games. I always have been. But no matter what anybody says... The true "mantra" behind all the '10 games this year isn't realism, it isn't innovation.... It isn't anything other than after-the-point-of-sale purchase points that are strewn throughout each and every one of these video games.

I'm so tired of seeing "Purchase this," purchase that in every section of screenshots! The latest is the Road to Glory, where apparently if you don't wanna be 4th string you can just purchase 5-star. Apparently this is to cover the R&D Costs of implementing the cheats. (nice one Peter). Honestly, I'd actually 'bought' into this guy somewhat before now.

I'm just a little annoyed. I'm still looking forward to the games.

But for instance, when I first heard that you could purchase dynasty cheats on NCAA, I should have put it all together that this "hit y and skip to the end for a small fee" mentality would be there in just about every screen of every EA game this year. THIS was what the '10 lineup of games was all about for EA. Nothing else.

wow, although I'm not real sure what you mean, you've almost got me convinced to believe you. When you say purchase, do you mean some kind of in game currency or mic points or real money or what? If it's anything other than fake in game currency of some type, then yeah, I'm on board with you bro. If true, REAL tacky EA.

While I agree in principal that the sale of dynasty cheats is crap, in retrospect it seems fairly realistic. No one wants to admit that the best players are bought and paid for on a regular basis, but anyone who can breathe with their mouth shut knows the truth. Is it right that my school can buy a recruiting advantage? No, but it is real. Sadly, it is real.

No...what he means is that you will have the option to use your microsoft points to buy the five star rating if your character didnt perform at a level high enough to get him that rating in the first place. Thats a waste though. Its rather easy to get a five star rating.....anyway its not that serious though to be paying for it if you cant get it based on performance
