Is John Thomas still there running back? I was seeing a special on him. He had learning disables and that was the reason he went to UNT because they are more stabilize with kids like him.

ECUs rating is a complete joke. How does a team that beats Virginia Tech and West Virginia, won the CUSA championship and should of won the liberty bowl get rated with a C+. Also ECU was ranked for most of last season and probably would have been at the end of the season if we didnt blow the liberty bowl.

They completely and without any sort of justification completely pooped on UVa's defensive front seven, but to make up for it made our wide receivers way better than they should be. Very much meh.

You're thinking of Jamario Thomas, and no, he was a senior in 2008. He led the nation in rushing as a true freshman despite only playing in 8 games, and then his career was ruined with hamstring problems as well as not being mentally adequate. It's a really depressing story. I still see him occasionally in East Texas and it's sad to see him fall from a possible NFL draft pick to a guy who's not mentally stable enough to hold down a good job.

When he was a stud, I had never seen a freshman running back like him. Granted, he wasn't playing against many great defenses, but he was just unstoppable. Six 200+ yard games, 1,800 yards on the season and 17 TD's in 8 games.

Dude was just nuts.
