Which version to buy, 360 or PS3?

This summer I got a PS3 to play baseball and now I have two systems like the old Genesis SNES Days. Then Sega always made the best sports games so it was easy to know which game to buy. Now since I have both next gen systems have anyone read of any head to head review that selects a winner between the two? Whichever one I get I will get Madden for the same system because I have been importing draft classes for 4/5 years now.

It's really all opinion. Go with whatever system you're more comfortable with. Whichever controller you like better and all that stuff.

I buy almost all of my games for ps3 now. My 360 sounds like a jet engine and runs hotter than an oven, I just cannot stand it very often. I don't see too much of a difference between the 2 as far as how the games play and look.

edit: My friend bought the 360 version today, so I will check it out tommorrow. But I doubt there will be any difference

Get the 360 so you wont get as much lag on online games or season showdown.

Here is the one and only difference:

The PS3 replays are lower in quality (ie, the ball doesn't spin on passing plays during replays).

That's it. So if that doesn't bother you, then either version is absolutely fine.

I'm getting it on 360, although I have both systems. The 360 typically outshines the PS3 on almost all cross platform titles, ESPECIALLY EA ones. Mine can also sound like a jet engine, but installing to the HD eliminates that for me.

I also prefer XBox Live and I like the Xbox controller more.

I have yet to see a cross platform game where the PS3 version was better. At best, it's a negligible difference. At the worst, its a huge difference (see the recent Ghostbusters game, holy crap!), usually its somewhere in between there with the 360 usually being the stronger version.

the 360 hands down looks better all around...

they both play the same way but the polish of it looks much better on the 360 even though I am very down on the overall graphics this year even on 360

I got the 360 version and my boy got the ps3 version and he brought his over last night to play on my ps3 and even he agreed that it looks better on the 360....and he is a sony fannnnboy to the max
