They have like 20 plays more than they should.

Unless there is a new rule i`m not aware of.

Why EA messed with Total plays? they were ok last year!

If you want me i can sim 5 games and i`ll post total plays combined, you will see they are between 145-180 plays. it`s too much!
No I get that. I understand there are too many plays, but I'm saying that the reason for that is because there were 83 incompletions in that game. I'm pretty sure there has never been a game in the history of football (maybe overtime but even then I doubt it)that has had that many incomplete passes.

Completed passes and running plays (and the time between plays) usually take between 30-45 seconds (5-10 seconds for the actual play, 20-40 seconds of the play clock running after the play is dead). Incompletions run no clock off after the play is dead, so they only run about 5-10 seconds off.

So in the picture you posted, that particular game had so many incompletions which led to the high play count. Those QBs combined only hit 36% of their passes, and also threw a ridiculous number of passes. What I am asking, is this: In the other games, how many incomplete passes are there? Because if a team is getting 180 plays and they are running the football most of the time, there is a problem with timing. As it looks from this example, the problem is with horrible QB accuracy.

It`s not that game alone... i simmed a whole season and Avg plays are 15-20 plays more than it should, compared to Real life.

see team above.

Didnt there used to be an option to change how long the quarters were in simulated games?

Would you mind posting a few other teams so we can match them against the ones you posted? like maybe wisconsin who runs alot. I don't doubt your thinking- just would like to see the stats of a team not as pass happy as SMU.

For those wondering- it appears ncaa 2010 SMU ran about 200-300 more offensive plays then the real team did last year based on the pics.

Re: Total Plays on Sim games on NCAA 10

I'm not so concerned over the number of plays

What I am concerned for is if that inflats the end of year stats.

Could you please sim a season then post the top 5 end of season stats? Like Passing Yards, Touchdowns, Ints, Completion %
