Also manually controlled linemen getting pressure is not the issue at all. The problem is CPU d-linemen are generally worthless. Rush 4, don't manually control a linemen and see how much pressure you get.

I disagree... I gameplan AgGRESSIVE and in two games I have 10 sacks and have held the opposition to under 100 yards rushing and just over 120 yards passing. AGGRESSIVE seems to work too well!

^^^All that tells is they made the game planning stuff way too powerful and not balanced at all.

Also, I would say that with the strategies I mentioned above, the qb pressure is rougly a 50/50 split between the player I control and one of the other 3 CPU lineman.

Again, I agree that the CPU DL is mostly worthless. I'm just saying that I have actually seen examples of CPU pressure as well. In my opinion it should happen on a more consistent basis, and rely on the ratings of the offensive and defensive linemen, but this is the best we have until EA provides a slider fix.

Dear Lord I hope that the sliders actually mean something after the patch.

ya, IMHO not only are your CPU d-lineman worthless without working sliders, this game is worthless without them.

I'm not that upset about it cuz I just rented the game. Actually I had a free rental so it didn't cost me a dime. But I was hoping to see something that would make me want to buy the game. Well, I have seen things that make me want to buy it. But the pass rush nonexistence overrides everything else.

Gameplay is the most important aspect of any sports video game. EA lost that concept years ago. Madden dev team finally understands it, now its time for NCAA's dev team to.

I'm sorry I do not see it. Honestly I thought I got too many sacks, and I'm not gloating at all but I played Hawaii v Miami and I think I got like six. If u follow the assignments I find u get decent pressure. Althouh when It says about the better ai calling Hawaii kept calling screen plays, when they were down so I dunno but overall I like it.
