EA why are FG's so easy????

They really need to bring the old system back. Like the pitching in The Show 3 click system.

Last year only 158 kicks (division 1-A) were even attempted at 50+ yards and only 62 were made for a lousy 39% success rate. Given that there are 120 teams, that means that each team averaged 1.3 50+ yard attempts in the entire season! Only 44 kickers last year hit a field goal from 50+ which means that 2/3 of the teams in division 1 football last year never made a 50+ yard field goal. This concept is lost on EA.

i actually find it hard. i missed like my first 12 field goals and constantly kicking out of bounds on kick offs. maybe i suck?

Its these kind of things that make me wonder if the devs even watch football.

Oh by the way, when I play with friends we have a rule that you cant attempt a FG over 54 yards. That's still long, but at least it's not 63-64 yarders. Somebody kicked a 69 yarder on me without wind recently and that's just dumb.

Whoever designed the FG process for NCAA football probably thinks that the shenanigans on Madden Nation is a good simulation of the pro game.

Seriously the FG accuracy and length are something you would think that you'd find on NCAA Street or NCAA the Bigs.

Agreed. I was top 50 in Madden 08 and I had the displeasure of playing some of the guys from Madden Nation.

If you enjoy stopping "Ace - slot strong" and "Shotgun Normal - PA QB Choice (with the motion glitch)" then you'd probably have fun playing them. Clods all, without a scrap of football knowledge between the lot.
