Why did EA go back to the NCAA 07 graphics?

Hey Adam, why do the helmets look so bad during night games? They look like those satin ball Christmas ornaments? They look great during day games though.

I don't know. I think the alias is this year's game is off in HD 1080i. Straight lines on stadium window frames are all over the place. That much seemed better in '09. But progressive lighting and shadows do look better this year. Cut scenes are pretty much the same. Now comparing 10 to 07 is a whole different argument. The first NCAA edition on 360 played like a demo to me.

I preferred 2009 camera angle over 2010. They should just make it adjustable.

This. I don't get why they look fine during any other time of the day, but at night they look awful. Someone goofed on the texturing during night games. In '09 they looked fine, so I don't know why it was changed.

The game does look a little different. My biggest gripe with the field is how it just seems like a painted canvas rather than actual grass or prograss. There is very little interaction between it and what is transpiring on top.

Not sure what game you're playing, but this is the best-looking game in the NCAA series by far -- and I've played 'em all.

As for the camera, the more I play the more I like it. We should still have five preset angles and a custom camera, but I'm getting used to it. It's better than the camera in the demo.
