Why did EA go back to the NCAA 07 graphics?

I thought the graphics all around were a improvement over last year except for jaggies which are most noticeable in some cut scene shots.

I disagree. $60 is not a ton of money, and I get way, way more than $60 enjoyment out of the game every year.

College football is my favorite sport, by far, and I really appreciate it when the development team puts some thought into the game and works to make good the things in the game that should count to most consumers.

I think they did that this year, and am very appreciative therefor.

Speaking of '07, remember how we were able to zoom in on a player's helmet and read the warning label? That was what Next Gen graphics was all about to me. Whatever happened to that level of detail? Now it's just a blurred patch.

My only issue with this game is the jaggies...WHAT is with the jaggies in EA Sports football games? It only seems to be in football games, it looks like a white outline around the legs of the players and sometimes their hands. The stand railings arent smooth and look bumpy with the jagged pieces and edges. Is my sharpness just too high?
