Player Lock - Best New Feature in last 10 years

It's a great feature. I use it a lot on defense, but look forward to getting a feel for it on offense too. I gotta learn to block better first.

I hadn't given player lock a try until I read this thread. Now, I'm hooked. It's made defense 10x more entertaining. I play as my SS... made a game saving INT at Alabama with player lock on. Easily my most satisfying moment with 2010 so far.

The O-line is cheap and sucks you in a bunch. My suggestion would be ditch the DE and play as an OLB or SS.

I too enjoy player lock here and there. However, I do prefer the traditional view b/c I can see the whole field. My only problem with player lock is that I hate that its turned on and off via the Left Stick, because when I shift my D-Line I sometimes switch in and out of it. I hate that. It should be another button, or at least be able to be switched in player controller options.
However, that feature is locked in controller options so it has to be the left stick....No biggie I guess, sometimes I just get caught in the middle when the ball is snapped is all.

I have to disagree as well. I hate this feature. Nothing is worse than trying to move your player pre-snap and at the snap you hit the button in and now you are locked, way out of the play and useless.

I dont mind that it is in the game, but why lock that button so it can't be changed for those that do not like it and do not want to use it? The only time I ever use it is when I am playing with a friend and I can switch to the FB or TE to block on run plays.

We should be able to turn that feature off.

My god is it annoying....
