Re: Conference invites?

Big EAst is a BCS conference but they aren't on the level of the SEC. I haven't heard of SEC, Big Ten, Pac ten, big 12 or ACC teams changing conferences.

I know my cousin took Lousiville to the SEC in a previous version. Kentucky wasn't the team booted then, Vandy was.

Virginia Tech and Miami used to be in the Big East before they moved to the ACC. I'm sure there's been more.

yea I know, but I'm just not a conference aficionado. I can tell you Ernie Davis was the first African American to win the heisman. I knew that before the movie came out, too.

Do you know where I can find old conferences, just curious?

might could google them. I know Arizona was in the WAC back in the seventies. Miami, Florida State and Penn State were indys in the eighties.

before the big 12 there was the SWC which was Texas, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Baylor, SMU, Arkansas, Houston, TCU, and Rice.

South Carolina was once ACC before being INDY a year or two before coming to the SEC. GA tech was SEC way back in the day.

they MWC was once a division of the WAC after they absorbed some teams that jumped up from 1-aa and a couple of others that weren't in a conference. all of the sun belt schools were once 1-aa.

Im sure there are others as well, just stuff off the top of my head.

You can move to conferences that have a higher conference prestige (hidden value) than your current conference. The Big East has the lowest prestige of all the BCS conferences, so if you are geographically eligible, you can move up.
