I just bought NCAA Football 2010 for PS3 and when I go to start a game.. it takes like a minute (give or take some) before it starts to the loading screen. Is this normal?? I don't understand why its doing this. Very annoying.. surely it isn't my PS3.

Hm, well I'm not sure if it's just your PS3. I can't remember if there's a way to install the whole game to the HD for PS3, but if you can, I know it definitely helped the load times for the 360. Maybe give that a shot?

I could try that I guess. I only have 40GB PS3.. so I don't have a lot of space. Please.. anyone with PS3.. does this happen to you?

I hate to bump this but its really bothering me. I am worried about my PS3 blu ray drive or something.

Ok last post. I fixed the problem. Some reason.. this game relies on the internet sooo much. And since my router was blocking ports on my PS3 (which caused this game online not to work right)... it was trying to load online data during that time and was taking a while.

So I added the PS3 to DMZ and now it works wonderfully and I can play online.
