it is just plain ridiculous. there is hardly any risk-reward to it. seems like the CPU is able to jump snap at will. when i try a hard count, i'm more likely to get called for a false start than to draw them into encroachment.

also, offsides is broken in this game. Here is picture proof, I timed the CPU snap to perfection (was in shotgun) and most definitely am in the neutral zone prior to the snap, but no offsides called.

LOL, that pic says it it all.

Jump the Snap falls under the same category as Game-planning & Defensive Keys imo.

i believe the game's code is setup so that offsides only counts if you cross the LOS. Which means you can be in the neutral zone and not get called for offsides.

at least last year you could get them to jump every once in awhile. i vary my snap count throughout the game in an attempt to prevent this and ive only drawn the COM offsides once since launch

Was playing against Bama last night. I was able to draw the Impact player for them on the DL offsides 4 times in a row.

I do agree that Jump the Snap is stupid. It is another cheat because EA can't program a legitimate defense without the cheats.

I don't think it's as bad as last yr but Defensive Keys is MUCH MUCH worse.

It's almost like Tecmo Bowl when you guess right.

OL AI is bad in this game.

OL AI is bad is an understatement. It is terrible, esp for the user. Jump snap and all of the run defensive keys are way too overpowered. I didn't know that when you are expecting the run, all 11 players will leave their defensive assignments and attack the line.

I also wish they would add defensive holding to this game, corners seem to get away with assault whenever my receivers are running routes.
