ive had the game since release and ive yet to return a punt for a touchdown. i never get any blocks and it seems impossible to me.

is it as bad for anyone else?

You're not the only one. I've yet to return a punt for a touchdown. I've returned several kickoffs for touchdown. My longest return is like 20 yards. The only time I thought I had a chance was when the CPU was kicking out of it's own endzone, but still didn't make it.

Yeah i can return kickoffs every n ow and then. but not being able to return a punt ever is pretty annoying.

Welcome to EA World.

We don't have a good gaming engine, so we can only do extremes.

Last year you could return everything. This year, you can't return anything.

Pretty sad actually.

I'm part of this club too. No punt returns by myself or the CPU.

Kickoff returns for a TD I get about one every 5 or 6 games. Same for the CPU.

My longest return on punts has been 15 yards. Last year, it was too easy to return punts, now it's impossible. UGH!!!
Although I've had some good kick returns, it seems like a right amount of TDs for kickoffs, just not punts.

I've actually returned like 2 or 3. It's easier to get good blocks when you go Double Safe Return. Not every team his it but if they do, I would use it. Almost everyone mans up on someone and if there is a streaker going coming down at you, at least you have another returner to block for the receiving returner. It works much better than the punt return middle, left, and right. I've also blocked a punt by using the double safe return too.
