WTF? My Kicker is #3 on the Heisman watch?

OK, so I was playing one of my older dynastys in NCAA 2003, I think I am in year 13 or 14. I think I am currently in week 9 or 10 and decided to check out the awards race for the year. I wasn't expecting any of my offensive players to be on there as my team is really struggling offensively, but I knew I would have a DB or 2 in the running for Defensive MVP as my defense is what is winning me games.

Anyways, my kicker, (i think his name is Craig Park, like it matters) who is a freshman is ranked 3rd in the Heisman race. He is like 24 for 25 with his long being 57 yards and has a 100% touchback rating, but I mean still, I have never even seen any player beside a QB, HB, or WR listed in the Heisman race. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Never seen anything like that before.

But it sounds like you need to recruit some offensive players if you're kicking that many field goals in a season

Yeah, I lost my starting QB, RB, and top 3 receivers last year to graduation and leaving early and had a very poor recruiting year, so the majority of my points are either FG's or defensive touchdowns.

I've had defensive players nominated for Heisman's. Linebackers I believe.
