Re: Academic Prestige & Campus Lifestyle

Campus Lifestyle doesn't go up or down because that is something that is out of the control of the coach and the football program.

Academic Prestige goes up or down at a much slower pace than it did in previous versions of the game. That's because, in real life, rarely does the overall academic standing of a university get really, immediately impacted by something done in the athletics department. I mean, everyone knows that, with a very small number of exceptions, the scholarship athletes (especially in the revenue sports: football and basketball) are not held to the same academic standard as regular students. The academic standing of the school is based on the school itself and the rank and file, non-athlete students, not the athletics department.

Like those who have stated before me, i dont think campus can change because unfortunately EA doesnt allow you to change your stadium or change anything about the campus. Also the academic i would think can change but very slowly. If you think about it colleges academics dont change that drastically from year to year.

By what I've read, academic prestige is affected by player's awareness rating. It changes slow too.

I have no idea if this is true or not; I've just read it.

I also think it includes how much your players on your team value academics. when you are recruiting them and their academic want is low, and your team is full of low players, it'll probably go down. if you start recruiting players that have high academic want, it'll go up.

not 100% sure on this, but I think it plays a part in it.

I've just noticed one more topic on reddit about Campus Lifestyle. Though I couldn't start a new topic here, somehow it redirected me to the main forum page.

Anyway, the guy mentioned that winning more can improve students morale and make the Campus Lifestyle ratings go up.
