I just finished my second year in dynasty. I was trying to recruit 2 different kickers and couldn't land either one. I had to settle for a walk-on kicker, but my walk-on has an OVR rating of 80 as a true freshman. Have you guys seen anything like this? Maybe he was interested in my school, but I did't recruit him at all. I'm playing as Kansas, so it's not like I have some super-program like Florida or anything. I just found this to be a little odd as I was expecting a walk-on with a rating of about 60.

I had that happen on my FSU dynasty after bout 4 years. Same thing kicker(Dustin Hopkins) leaves and I failed on recruits. Walk-on was a 80 or 81.

thats crazy. I have a dynasty with Florida and the highest walk on was a 63 or so, and in my stanford dynasty i have a walk on rb with a 60 rating

walk-on kickers are always rated high for some reason, defeats the purpose of recruiting them

Other positions walk-ons are rated in the 60's usually

Are punter walk-ons rated high too? I'm recruiting one now and I don't wanna continue wasting my time if I can just get a good walk-on.

I just got a walk-on punter rated a 78ovr on my UNA dynasty. So, I would say yea.

I've had both a QB and WR walkon with an 80+ rating. I don't recruit kickers because the walkons seem to be better.

I've seen it both ways.

You can sometimes get a good one, or you can end up with crap.
