Thanks again.
This patch takes some power out of the offense, no doubt about it.

Top scoring team:
Texas A&M - 36.5

10 teams IRL during the 2008 season averaged 40 points or more. I don't remember before the patch what the leader looked like.

6 teams are 30+ points in my 2019 season
IRL in 2008: 36 teams had 30+ points/game

I'm at the end of my first season(late starter I know) and looking at the stats, I have 13 teams that averaged 40+pts. I really think I'm going to leave well enough alone. For my own personal enjoyment, progression is the lesser of the 2 evils.

Stew(hope you don't mind me calling you that) thank you for taking the time to not only do the test but to post the test results, as well as look at the stats. Its greatly appreciated.

Not necessarily. I think those were the top 5 most interceptions given. I.e. those stats are not what the top 5 QBs (in terms of rating or TDs) got. Please correct me if I am wrong.

True, if you did get that many INT you would probably lose your starting job. But this is not un realistic. Given that some teams play 13+ games, getting 2 or so INT a game is not that uncommon.

Re: Post Patch Progression Simulation

Top QBs had like 30+ and ~10 picks

One guy had 27 TD/27 INT

INTs are high.

In 2008, real life...
http://espn.go.com/college-football/...ions/year/2008

INT leader: 23
20+: 2

2 INTs/game is quite a bit if you ask me. There were some QB's with completion % in the high 30s, low 40s as well.
