Ncaa Football 2009 vs 2010

I bought 2010 right when it came out played it for a month and just couldn't stand it. went and got 2009 back out and love the game play on it. I know you have to tweek the sliders a good bit but I just could not get into 2010 like I can 2009. Any one else agree?

Sorry for the wrong title!!

Re: 20009 vs 2010

to me, '09 is a terrible game versus CPU. it's even worse versus another user. dynasty mode is basically unplayable to me with the poor CPU recruiting and roster management. with '09, it's all about speed. you get a WR with 99 speed, you can score every single play. you get a HB with 99 speed, you can score every play. and the worst part is that 99 speed players are easy to come by in the recruiting classes in '09.

if '09 didn't have Online Dynasty, I would have stopped playing the game very quickly as OD was THE ONLY thing that made me want to play it.

NCAA 10 is not a great game, but it is a lot better than '09. it's not even close in my eyes. you can play versus the CPU, you can play versus another user, I'm way deeper into my offline dynasty in NCAA 10 than I was with '09. I think I quit playing '09 offline dynasty after the 3rd season, if that far.

Even with sliders you'd never lose against the CPU on 09. 10 has it so you can actually lose some games. That's enough for me to know that 10 is better. And the fact that one attribute doesn't mean everything helps.

yeah i mean dont get me wrong yall are right about the cpu. But I just put my sliders way down to compensate. Do yall think that the graphics were toned down from 09 to 10. To me it looks it has a lot less detail?

Not at all to me. I mean, the progressive lighting sucks, but besides that, it looks better.

Edit: Wait. I wish I got to play 20009.

Re: 20009 vs 2010

I prefer '09 over '10. I never found the game to be that easy but I'm not that great I guess. Speed did matter a bit too much but to say you could score on every play with a 99 speed WR is crazy. I think some of the problems with '09 are exagerated too much but that's true for a lot of complaints on OS.

We had a poll early on and about 85% of the people here preferred NCAA 10. Most people do like NCAA 10 better but there are quite a few of us that don't.

Slant route across the field from the far hash with a 99 speed WR = score 99% of the time.

agreed 100%.

The cpu roster management in dynasty mode absolutely killed the game for me. On the field was rough, but I could've dealt with it had the dynasty mode been playable after a season or two.
