Best playbook for running QB?

I've borrowed the game and I have several playbooks I like (Arkansas, USC and Air Force), but what playbook on the game is the best for focusing on the QB? Iso'ing the HB, FB, TE or WR is no problem. Just wondering about a playbook where the only thing your team has is a running QB (like Baylor, etc.). Florida is obvious, as are some of the option plays/playbooks, but I am thinking more spread. Thanks guys!

Re: Best playbook for running QB?

It depends on what type of QB runs you want. Navy, Ga Tech, Army, Air Force all have a ton of standard option plays. Florida, Michigan, and Oregon have the spread QB choice/wrap option plays.

If you're looking for more spread option, then I would run with Michigan, Oregon, or Florida (maybe West Va too). I'm running with Florida's playbook in my dynasty and having some success at Washington State.

Re: Best playbook for running QB?

I used generic spread. It was all formatons with the QB in the gun and lots of option and read plays. I avg 108 yds a game with a QB with a 87spd.

I just noticed on the audible screen the number of play types are no longer there (Inside Runs, QB Runs, etc.). That would have helped. Auburn's looks really good this year.

Hmm... Never thought of using a generic spread playbook. I just recruited a QB with good speed, so that would be a good fit. I may have to try that...

Miss. St.'s, Auburn's and Florida are the best three I saw. Anyone else see a good one?

Those are the best 3 in my opinion. I prefer MSU's since it takes the best stuff from Auburn's pb and the best stuff from Florida's and puts them in 1 pb.

I'm not sure what you mean by the "audible screen" as I've never seen the play types there before.

If you go to the play calling screen, you can choose plays by "player" by "formation" and by "play type." The "play type" screen will have the information you're looking for.
