This means final build/beta is done and Steve could have one by week's end.

I hope so, I predicted June 20.

EA won't let this sucker out early. If you let it out too early, people won't pick up Madden. Many people pick up the college game play a season or two, get attached to their players and then want to get Madden so they can draft them into that game. The marketing department won't let the release dates vary too much between those games, it will always be around 3 weeks.

you may be right fs, but then again, they may use this as steam for Madden. The more time we have to play in our dynasties, the more we'd have waiting to "invest" in Madden.

Personally, NCAA fuels my Madden playing, it really gets me ready for Madden and in the right frame of mind. I know im not everyone, but the more time i'd have to play NCAA without Madden's looming presence, the more anticipation i'd have for Madden.

But, thats just me

Yea I agree. It's like the two are a matching set...you have to have both to really enjoy both.

NCAA has no competition. Plus, most NCAAers ALSO buy Madden, if for no other reason then importing draft classes.

NCAA will ship on the 17th.

Good news though.

This means final build/beta is done and Steve could have one by week's end.

So, in other words, we should start getting ready for 50 or so posts of "What is this player's rating?" daily?

We will just slap a sticky for the player's rating.

I can go on record right now, for those who have not been around the last 2 years for NCAA time, Steve WILL NOT do player ratings unless he has a ton of free time. He does screens, movies, and answers gameplay questions. If you want the ratings, buy the strategy guide.

Good, because I really don't understand the point of asking for a player's rating. Personally, I would rather hear about new features, gameplay, etc. than what the 3rd string QB for Air Force's awareness rating is.
