I had some of the best times of my life as an undergrad at the old Pitt stadium.

To answer the question, I read somewhere that "Field Turf" isn't an option.

You get the choice between grass and astroturf. That's all.

They had "grassy turf" in 2003, so since more teams have installed "grassy turf", I'm sure it will be in the game this year. I just hope they have it for Mountaineer Field. I hate turf, in videogames and in real life.

Re: Will NCAA 2004 Have Field Turf Surfaces?

My Indiana Hoosiers will have AstroPlay installed at their Memorial Stadium, which will not only benefit the players' health during the games but will also allow the Hoosiers to use Memorial Stadium as a nighttime practice field. IU's usual practice field doesn't have lights installed, but of course Memorial Stadium does. So it looks like it'll do us good all the way around.

If your going to have turf field turf is the way to go. It looked so much better on OSU's field after that old stuff we had.
