Re: New Creative Director for EA Football

The ironic part, is if you look at those games, they are fun, and while they are arcade, they had great success. This can actually be a good thing, as he is being the creative director and will oversee the operations from a creative standpoint. Maybe this will bring in some great ideas to the table. I think it will be a good thing, anything is better than the same game we have received for the last 3 installments.

Re: New Creative Director for EA Football

Hopefully he can implement some of the great sounds of the NFL. Maybe a more creative side to the celebrations and atmosphere of the NFL and NCAA. Im talking about stadium sounds, team specific celebrations, big game celebrations, team entrances for both madden and NCAA. He is the creative director and god knows that Madden and NCAA has not been very creative the last couple years. I hope it turns out good for both games.

Re: New Creative Director for EA Football

Well, he's screwed either way. On one side, the game will continue to look like....well this for the next 2 years. Or it'll become 7-on-7 with Tim Tebow doing Christ Flips into the endzone. My stomach churns.

And that quote up there, about the "earnings per share", is that true? Cuz if it is, it makes me sick to my stomach.

EDIT: Looked it up, it is true. Unfortunately, shareholders don't play games, so you have the E-Trade generation telling us what good gaming is. Ugh.
