Is Passing Vision Needed?

Today, for the first time in months, I played a game of NCAA 10. I used the default sliders, and played on Heisman difficulty.
One thing I noticed is that I think the game would be way more realistic if the "Passers Vision" thing from Madden 06 was put into the game. I say this, because as many of you know, usually the main purpose of a zone coverage is for the DB's and/or LB's in zone to read the QB's eyes, and react accordingly. If they put this feature into the game, QB's with higher awareness would have a HUGE advantage(as they should and not just somehwat of an advantage over lower awareness rated QB's. Without any sort of QB vision, zone coverage is completely broke in my eyes, and there is no benefit to a ball-hawking safety like Ed Reed. Just my opinion. Any comments on what you guys think?

I hear where you are going with this. I know a lot of people, maybe most loved the vision cone. Me, on the otherhand never really got it down smoothly, so I turned it off.

Re: Is Passing Vision Needed?

1. Thats another thing. How hard would it be to put it as an on/off setting? Oh, you play online? How about ranked games both with it on and off?(Both players would have to agree to play a game with the same setting for it).

2. Not only would the "cone" have to be added but they would have to also completely re-do the way a player defends his zone. It would have to be more based off of the QB's eyes, and not as much the receivers positioning. Aslo I would like guys with higher AWR to "bait" QB's in and even more importantly, higher AWR rated QB's to "bait" DB's out.

I loved QB vision when it came out. It makes perfect sense to me, why should the QB throw a perfect pass to a receiver when he is looking in the other direction. And yes when the D is in zone defense they do key off the QB's eyes.
