Really still no in game saves!

You know what though, sometimes those few minutes before work is one of the few times I get to sit down and play and if I get the chance I am going to take advantage. (Chances are few and far between these days). Like I said my wife and kids use the PS3 for blu rays during the day so that is not an option on my end. For me, it's no contest, it's a must have. Glad you can work around it though.

Incorrect. Many of the original PS3s are dying from YLOD which is caused by overheating. Just check the PS3 death thread here at OS. Pausing your system will only take away from the lifespan of the console.

Why are some of you arguing against this? It has no effect on those that dont want to use it. Hell, you can still pause the game if that is your preferred method. However, it can be a lifesaver for us that have to interrupt our gaming time for long stretches and dont want to waste electricity and/or keep our system on for long periods.

Just put in game saves in use them if you want dont use if you dont! Not going to break the game only make it more user freindly.

Yeah I have NO idea why this is not here. It was in Madden way back in like 2004. Yet it just disappeared on next gen all together. Sometimes things come up and you don't want to lose all your stats and what you have did. Yet you do not want to leave it on pause, as leaving any system on for that long is not a great idea. Plus, the power could flicker off for just a second and leave you SOL. This feature needs to be brought back.
