i understand this is a touchy subject and they have to be careful when discussing it, but last year they did discuss the hiring of the new roster guy who was supposed to be a lot more knowledgeable on the skills of just about any player in the nation.

forget the roster debacle that happened last year for a minute. is there a chance this year wont have the superhuman top ten teams (and fsu) and that the player ratings will be spread out more across the board like how madden did last year? it has to be a tremendous undertaking to rate 69 players on 120 teams, but i really dont want to see another year where a 3rd stringer on a top 10 team is rated higher than all conference players on teams in the same conference.

beyond more sim gameplay and less cheesy features that can be exploited this would make a big difference in regular online play.

I'm not sure, but I can almost guarantee that two of the top players will be Mark Ingram and Terrelle Pryor. Bet.

Well if you read blog number 2 they put up earlier. You can tell they have redone the ratings this year and made them better. So it seems the ratings system this year has been redone.

I am right there with you on this. UF having redshirt freshmen at 86OVR is comical as well as the 90OVR players who haven't peed a drop.

This. Read Blog #2 and they mention stretched rating's and go into some detail about how players overall will be as well as player potential. It's a pretty good read actually.

I do hope the freshmen on the default roster are rated similarly to the recruits.
