I can definitely see them waiting for the next console cycle to implement any physics related engine to the football games. However, if they see the Euphoria engine as legitimate competition, maybe they would expedite the process.

NHL developers removed all 2 person animations from NHL10 so that they could eliminate the suction effect. Now NHL11 reportedly has real time physics. Maybe it's fair to assume that Madden/NCAA will show the same incremental progress.

Exactly, and there are a lot of BB's standard animations that just aren't good. Take the QB throwing motions... I don't know what they were doing there, but I've seen girly girls throw a football with better form than that.

No matter what, there will always be hitches in any type of animation process. I'm not looking for perfection like I think a lot of gamers are expecting, I'm looking for excellence. I just don't have the same confidence in EA delivering that with football as I did generations ago.

NBA Elite (live) is getting real time physics too, So why not Madden and NCAA next year
