Exclamation Boise accepts invite to the Mountain West

The move is effective July 1, 2011

and your next super conference is born, i expect them to pick up kansas, kansas state, and baylor as well

if all these teams start next year, ncaa 12 is going to be epic, especially if there's some sort of playoff

This is gonna be a long month. No one is even talking about the game anymore. We have a college football forum for a reason.

Agreed, a playoff system IRL and in NCAA football would do wonders for everyone that enjoys college football.

Hopefully everything will be settled by at least NCAA 13 so they can have everything correct. The possibilities are quite endless.

Definitely going to need a custom conferences feature in next year's game. Who knows where all this is going to end up.

I suspect we're headed for 4 super conferences. Pac-10, Big-10, SEC and ACC. Big East, MWC and the rest are going to be on the outside looking in.

mountain west added boise today, and will probably add a couple more good teams, they will most likely have a bcs bid, i have a pretty positive feeling we're going to have a playoff come from all of this though

Yeah, but who holds the cards? If the whole "four superconferences" thing goes through, they wont invite the smaller guys to the party. I have a feeling that the four conferences will shrink D-I from 112 whatever teams to 64 overnight.
