Mystery Hit Stick?

when playing defense, the player that I control keeps hit-sticking at random moments throughout the play. But since the ball carrier isn't close when the player hit-sticks, he just flails his arms and takes himself out of the play, often giving the offense a large gain.

It seems that this happens most often when I'm using L2 (strafe) and when I release strafe, he hit-sticks.

Man it is really pissing me off as it takes my player out of the play. Does anyone else notice this? It's driving me crazy. I remember seeing this a couple years ago in NCAA as well...

If you're playing on PS3, try turning your motion control all the way off in the player profile settings, unless you plan on using it. I had the same thing happening to me in Madden a few years ago. I changed my motion sensitivity down to 0 on my profile and I haven't had it happen in any EA football game since. I suggest you try that and if that doesn't work, I don't know what to tell ya. Thanks, I'll give it a whirl... i hate that motion sensor garbage....

I can't find the option anywhere to turn off the motion sensor... can anybody help?
