With 120 Ways To Win...

Really hoping one of the EA people can chime in here... and I apologize if this seems like a really lame question, but in the demo when each team is announced the announcer talks about their game style...

My question is this... are the teams locked into their style? Meaning... if I start a dynasty as Notre Dame and don't want to use their No Huddle Spread, and instead wish to use a Pro Style, will I be able to do that?

Yeah, I know... in the past you could always use whatever offense you wanted. But in the demo it seems as though the seed is planted to change that. Also, the demo defenses are limited... they all play the same D.

I would hope that I could take over any team and choose my offense and defense, just wondering if someone from EA could clarify?

I hadn't thought of that. I'd say that there's a 99.9% chance that you can use any playbook you want like in years past, but it'd be annoying if you take over GT and make them a spread team and the announcer talks about their flexbone attack.

In past games you always set your offensive style (spread, balanced, etc) but that was only used in the game to determine your needs for recruiting. I'd guess that this will be used more and, in the example above, if I set GT's slider to spread, then the announcers will talk about their spread attack instead of their flexbone attack.

Yes you can. It is tied into what playbook you use. To run the No Huddle you just hit the no huddle button after a play. To increase your tempo, turn the gameplan setting to aggressive.

Can we change their playbooks without controlling the other schools?

Thanks for answering. So we can choose our playbooks and we can change them... in dynasty if I want to run Air Raid and after 5 seasons I want to change to Multiple then I can do that w/ no problem?

Also, whilst you're here... can you confirm whether or not the Shovel Pass is in the Run & Shoot playbook?
