Your a Florida fan? Why the USC avatar? Where did you go to school at?

And Cincy was a "complete joke" last year? That is why they beat 3 or 4 ranked teams, won 12 games and went to a BCS bowl? I am not saying they were Florida, Alabama or Ohio State, but a "complete joke"? Your credibility is quickly drowing to the bottom of Operation Sports Ocean...LOL

Re: E3 Preliminary Top 25

I don't know if any of you have played football. But saying those underdogs gain a huge advantage because the teams they play don't care if they win or lose is pretty ignorant. Texas could play Wyoming in the MAC bowl and they would give it their all to win.

I don't know why you guys are arguing over this. TCU, Cincy, etc. have shown they have talent. Do they have the talent USC had in 04, Florida in 07, or Miami in 01(not possible)? We don't know. But what we do know is they have proven they can go undefeated and beat the ranked teams when they have to.

apparently, if you don't play in the sec, win every game by 14+, hold every team under 14, you are a complete joke of a team

If you're supposedly as good as the best SEC teams and can't beat horrible WAC teams by 14+, yes.

I disagree with your first statement but I won't get into that.

There is a lot of reasons why the statement "schedule a good non-conference schedule against schools fromthe top conferences" is a lot easier said than done. TCU is lucky that they have the top programs around them to schedule them. They have a home and home scheduled agaisnt Baylor, Texas Tech, Arkansas, and LSU coming up and a guarantee game against OU. All those teams are a state away and that is pretty much the only reason they will schedule them. All Boise has is the Northwest schools to schedule. Nobody else has incentive to play them.
