Favorite Uniforms

After sifting through the new uniforms 2.0 thread, it got me thinking about my favorite uniforms and ones that I hope are in the game. Some of these were in past iterations of NCAA....Feel free to chime in.

1) Clemson's purple

2) FSU's all black (even with the Pro Combat helmet this year)

3) Notre Dame greens (not sure if they will have an alternate this year)

4) Pro Combats (although confirmed, I like Miami's, VT's (which many hate), Florida (w/ white helmets

5) LSU's metallic gold helmets and white helmets

6) Classic uniforms...(Miami, Notre Dame greens from 70's, Florida with orange jerseys, Tennessee jerseys minus the black, Pittsburgh from Marino days)

7) Georgia's black helmets and pants (black jerseys were in last year's game)

8) Air Force helmet with camo embedded within the lightning bolt logo

Being a Marine, I'm a big fan of the academy's uniforms that were used for the Army and Missouri bowl game this past season.

Will Pitt's throwbacks be in? I didn't get last years so I don't know if the game even has throwbacks.

according to Teambuilder, Pitt will have their 2009 uniform(blue, gold and white jerseys; blue and gold pants), and their new uniforms for this season(blue and white jerseys; blue, gold, and white pants)

I lost all respect for Penn State when they changed from gray facemasks to dark blue. I mean, really...

Though they're not being used anymore, Hawaii's uni toward the end of the June Jones era was my favorite.

normally I hate that kind of stripes/piping. but the red/black combo works really well.


I pretty much like all the classic designs(Penn State, Alabama, USC, etc..) for the most part.

I really liked TCU's special pro combat uniform last year though.


I also liked Army's Camo uniform they wore a while back
