I wouldn't put it past walmart to strike some kind of insane deal to sale it early. those people are as cutthroat as they come.

It does make you wonder especially since the Halo Reach release date is right, watch that EA was going to make some special announcement later in the week bumping up the date.

reminds me when i was walking around best buy and madden 04 was on display and i was like wtf this doesn't come out for like another week and i already reserved it somewhere else

well naturally i just bought it the second i saw it anyway.....still my favorite version of madden ever

back on topic though i doubt this will happen, as someone mentioned before they probably wont even have it at the store although they would have it a few days early...say the saturday or sunday before and you could most definitely go in and raise hell with that ad in hand.....

I would call your local Wal-Mart and just see if it is indeed right. With the website not saying anything about it...makes me scratch my chin though.

I'm pretty sure that either one of two things;

There are disclaimers in SUPER TINY FINE PRINT on some random page of the ad

OR

Each Wal*Mart will just put a note in store correcting themselves.

OR

Hell who knows maybe EA is doing some super early release for Wally World.
