I'm not sure this list settles anything...in fact, I think it starts more debates...starting with Josh Nesbitt in your top 10. Just my 2 cents...

What is more real? Because the NFL is a single offense league you dismiss their execution and success in their respective offense. It's ridiculous. Are we arguing best NFL prospect, or best college player(Quarterback)?

Good point Tengo, this is meant to be a debate of top COLLEGE football players, not who is the best prospects, QB in general

Real is the wrong word. Common would be more apt. Guys like Mallett, Locker, Luck, Ponder, Moore, etc., would have a much easier time stepping into Houston's offense and performing well than guys like Keenum, Harrell, Brennen, Padron do going the other way. Keenum is accurate, but he doesn't have a strong arm, is small, doesn't run well, and plays in an offense that prioritizes decision making less than most. Throwing for 5000 yards in that style of offense is about the equivalent of throwing for 3000 yards in a conventional offense. I'm not saying the offense is bad - it's fantastic, and works well, but it works so well because it doesn't take a great QB, RB, or OL to run. You have to have quick, athletic WR's, but those are easier to recruit, because conventional offenses want bigger, stronger receivers. It is easier to man the Quarterback position in those offenses, and you have to take that into consideration when evaluating players. Otherwise, why isn't Padron considered the 2nd best QB in the nation, when he puts up amazing stats, and people like Luck so much, even though he only threw 13 tds?

Re: BEST PLAYERS AT EACH POSITION

Man my analogies are always confusing for people. I've seen Locker the past couple of seasons and yes he is an athlete. I agree he makes better decisions but he is still in that mold as he hasn't reached his potential. He doesn't run as much as them because he has Polk and Sarkisian won't let him. I feel when a guy runs a 4.4 forty that's athletic ability. He is a Steve Young kind of guy, so he will work in the NFL. He's in no way a bust but he's not as good as he can be. Look at Steven Jackson 1,500+ yards on a rams team. If he can put up 2,500 yards with 60% accuracy and 350 yards rushing I'll be happy because Washington is only getting better.

As for Ponder he's remarkable. Some fans will say he has a "cannon" but being underpowered doesn't matter because he makes good decisions, he's mobile, and accurate. Look at Orton he threw for 3000+ yards. He's got more talent than Orton but won't be throwing 80 yard bombs like Mallett.
