This means that, when the Big 10 teams are moved into the ACC, they inherit these games. So now you'll have an annual (insert name of Big 10 team that was swapped in for GT) vs. Georgia game, but Georgia won't ever play GT again. This will also really affect ND since they'l never play USC again and instead they'll play the Big 12 team that got swapped in for them. This also affects the ND/Big 10 rivalries (which will happen even if I only do a B10/B12 swap) since they play MSU, Mich (I'll be Michigan so I can manually add this game back in every year), and Purdue every year.
Very interesting.

I think I'll just switch the Big Ten and Big XII. It's not a huge deal to me if Notre Dame doesn't play Michigan, MSU, Purdue. They will be in the Big Ten conference I have with Texas, OU, etc, that's more than enough tough opponents IMO lol.

I think Texas and A&M play the last game of the year in the Big XII each year so I'll make sure I put OSU and Michigan in their slots. I wonder if there will be any weird OOC games for them lol.

I can think of the team replacing Colorado having to play Colorado State each year for example.

We can try to manually keep some rivalries...for example, switch Illinois and Missouri for one another so they still play each other, etc.

Also, trade Iowa for Iowa state so they still play each other, that's another one.

Big XII South:

Ohio State for Texas
Michigan for Texas A&M
Michigan State for Oklahoma State
Penn State for Oklahoma
Indiana for Texas Tech
Minnesota for Baylor

Big XII North:

Nebraska stays obviously.
Iowa for Iowa State.
Illinois for Missouri.
Purdue for K-state
Northwestern for Kansas
Wisconsin for Colorado.

Now the Big Ten is going to be interesting.

I figure I'll slide

Texas into OSU's spot
A&M's into Michigans so they play each year last game but any other Big ten teams that OSU plays EVERY year? I'd rather Texas play Oklahoma every year than A&M atleast for me.

The Big Ten is trickier.

Ok here's the new Big Ten. I researched and discovered that apparently each big Ten team has TWO team's it plays EVERY year...I wish it would have been three so I could have made this better but i think it's pretty good for the most part.

Texas=Ohio State.
Texas A&m=Michigan
Oklahoma=Penn State
OK State=Michigan State
Kansas=Northwestern
K-State=Purdue
Missouri=Illinois
Baylor=Minnesota
Texas Tech=Wisconsin
Notre Dame=Indiana
Iowa State=Iowa

Michigan vs Ohio State becomes TeX A&M and Texas
Michigan vs Michigan State becomes TX A&M vs OK A&M
Penn State vs Ohio State becomes OU vs Texas
Penn State vs Michigan state becomes Oklahoma vs Oklahoma State.
Purdue vs Northwestern becomes K-state versus Kansas
Purdue vs Indiana becomes K-state and Notre Dame.
Illinois vs Northwestern becomes Missouri vs Kansas
Illinois vs Indiana becomes Missouri vs Notre Dame
Iowa vs Minnesota becomes Iowa State vs Baylor
Iowa vs Wisconsin becomes Iowa State vs Texas Tech
Minnesota vs Wisconsin becomes Baylor vs Texas Tech.

I tried to keep the most important rivalries alive like OU/TX, A&M/TX, OU/OK A&M, Mizzou/KU, etc. I couldn't do Texas/TT obviously, but they will play most years anyways. I could only do so much and yeah I know, ND isn't in the new Big XII(10 whatever lol) but I needed an 11th team and they are a sexy name and should make it a fun conference IMO.

I'm just going to switch Indiana with Nebraska for the Big 10. Colorado and Utah will be in the Pac 10. I will just switch those two teams with the two worst pac 10 teams.

Hey six,

So would the rivalry teams be the same? ex.. OSU = Mich, PSU, Ill and did you just leave Neb where they were?

Re: How to I'm doing Conference Realignment in NCAA 11

How about a 3 conference switch?

Move Big Ten teams to Big 12

Then move Pac 10 teams to Big 10 (ending with original B12 schools in Pac10)

So, you have the 11 Pac 10 schools (added CO) in the B10
You have the 12 Big Ten schools in the B12
You have the 10 B12 schools in the PAC 10.

You still have the issue with bowl bids, but at least they would be a somewhat equal trade-off.
