Re: Teams you have a "Soft Spot" for

I'm a Sooners fan, but there are a few teams I root for in other conferences:

Big Ten: I've always liked Wisconsin for some reason.
Pac 10: I root for Washington. Not sure why.
SEC: Georgia is my SEC favorite.
ACC: I like Florida State in the ACC.
Big East: I have a soft spot for Louisville and I hate to see how far they've fallen.

Wow I'm surprised people actually care for other teams. UF and UF only for me. I cheer for no other team. I'll watch the heck out of other games, but I'm only cheering for my Gators.

Texas - Probably just arose from my hatred of OU...and being in the championship against bama last year. They have a pretty awesome looking campus, too, in a pretty awesome city.

Georgia - Only SEC team I could really see myself ever being a fan of in the future, I went to Athens for the Auburn game last year, and it looked like a pretty chill place.

Penn State - I've just always liked Joe Pa.

Michigan - It's the only real big football school I'm looking at applying to for college next year, so I've started to like them more. I'm actually visiting Ann Arbor later this month.

Re: Teams you have a "Soft Spot" for

Arkansas; my grandparents raised me in Fayteville(I can never spell it right lol) for bout five years then moved to Tulsa, and became a Sooner fan around 1998 when I went to their games with my uncle. Can never root against Arkansas they're my grandmother's team even when OU played Arkansas in the Cotton Bowl I was just trying to pretend we were playing Nebraska or Texas lol.

Arizona State; I'm from Arizona and my dad was a huge ASU fan so I have gotten a soft spot for them.

Arizona; I know right like WTF you just said ASU, well I don't claim fanship to either one, but as long as Arizona has Mike Stoops I will have a soft spot for them, and if you guys fire him I can only hope and pray he comes back to Oklahoma to coach defense!

LSU: My sister was a golden girl for LSU in 2003 and 2004, so I kind of got a family tie to them. I root for em even if she still brings up 2003 and "21-14" every time I see her. At least she married a Sooner fan, so her kids if/when she has them have a chance to be raised right.

SMU: Love their uniforms and fight song more of an NCAA soft spot developed. Always rebuild them.

Kansas: Where I'm going to school right now studying law. They are my #2 to the Sooners though in truth they should be #1 since I am planning on being an alumni oh well I got about 3 years to shape up I guess.
