My FB's will never be on the field. It will always be Mark Ingram (98) and Trent Richardson (92) on the field at the same time.

I will mostly use it to split some carries up between Ryan Williams and Darren Evans, while also trying to give freshman that I don't redshirt some valuable minutes.

As a Michigan fan, I'll use the formation subs to split up Forcier and Robinson early on in the season. After I play a few games I'll make one of them a true starter, though the other will still be used in certain situations.

I'll also put my starting QB in on Fake Pass Field Goals...

I will also put a fast WR at Tight End on some formations that use slant routes

Sometimes on HB Pass, I may put my backup QB as my running back, or fix the depth chart so that I can bring my backup QB in as my HB on some plays (I did this every once in awhile in NCAA 10)

In NCAA 10, I would sometimes run a 3 QB system by doing the follwing...Hopefully the formation subs make this easier...Here's what I had to do in NCAA 10 to make it work...

From the Wild Cat formation...
1) Leave your 1st string QB where he is.
2)Put your 2nd string QB as your starter at HB
3)Put your 3rd string QB as your 2nd WR
In Wildcat do the Package:QB(this way the other guy dosen't know it's Wildcat formation)
4)Make sure your real starting HB is your 2nd string HB for when you need real running plays.

Most of these subs you have listed are for specific plays. I'm pretty sure formation subs will only go as far as the formation, not specific plays.

Not for coverage. Last gen only let you set the returners and long snapper and kicker/punter.

I want to be able to put backup linebackers on the kick coverage teams like is done in the real world.

I remember being able to use full formation subs for kickoffs and kick returns back in '08 for ps2

Re: Formation Subs: How will you utilize it?

I will most likely use my fast option style QB for my option running sets. while my other QB for the rest.

Also i will definitely be using my receivers in interesting ways, #1 receiver in the slot etc.
