I can't believe there are actually three "yes" votes. To each his own, but I can't do it. I feel like I'm getting enough for my $60 already. If I want them that bad I'll just name 'em myself.

If EA were to work out a deal with the NCAA where in exchange for putting names of college players into the game, money was put into a scholarship fund(one of the NCAA's choosing) than i would be all for paying an extra $15(assuming that the $15 is all donated into a scholarship fund, or at least 50%).

The game isn't the same without player names.

All they have to do is put the rosters online (on a Teambuilder-style site) and let users login, edit the default rosters to their liking, name the file, download the file and share it through the EA Locker.

If they did that a month or so before the launch date, you can bet the community would band together and knock out a killer roster file to have in time for launch day.

No. I they ever got the ability to use real names it would be included in the game. Extra 15 bucks? Come'on Man!

Brilliant poll idea!

Let's give EA some more ideas on how to squeeze a few extra bucks out of us, since they're struggling to stay afloat.

Yeah, let's all answer that we'd happily pay an extra $15 for something that the NCAA would kinda, sorta, probably, MOST DEFINITELY prohibit.

OK, one more time: What exactly is the purpose of this thread and this poll?

Why would names be $15 more? They're free in Madden, why would NCAA charge for them?

Names affect gameplay, how? I'm not paying for something that doesn't change anything.

1. No college game will ever have real names, due to kids can't get paid.

2. I gurantee come launch day, you go online on EA locker, there will be 10 or more roster files made from people who got the game early.
