Re: NCAA Football 11 IMPRESSIONS ONLY

Best NCAA in years.......the gameplay this year really shines.
the AI really works to beat you...I love it

Started my New Mexico State Dynasty, without touching a setting from the defaults, and I'm very pleased.

For the first time in years, the CPU was gave me everything I could handle. Defense, special teams, and most importantly, variety in CPU offense.

The Aggies loss to SDSU, 35-21 to open the year. My offensive line spent a great deal of the game being utterly manhandled; I was out-athleted all day long across the board, and struggled to convert even long 3rd downs. The two scores came on great plays, one 38 YD TD pass va busted coverage and the other ( an 60 yd TD Run )on a missed tackle/broken tackle combo.

after my two first quarter TDs The last 3 quarters of the game was me getting my but kicked..totally unable to standing up against the SDSU attack.

Best game i've had in years....great job EA

The new recruiting makes you decide how long you want to spend prior to even calling a player. This seems a little bit like a regression towards reality as a coach or player. I thought recruiting needed to be adjusted, but not this way.

I may adapt and end up enjoying it, but it doesn't make it more realistic.

I also don't like how it shows which playbook you are using in a ranked game.

My Realistic Looks & Sounds Of NCAA 11

1.Turn down the Audio to where ya just barely here the pads when tackling & hits, so it doesn't sound like a car crashing. Crank the crowd up.
2.Play the game on Slow
3.Tone down on the color a couple notches.

This is my recipe

Thumbs up Re: NCAA Football 11 IMPRESSIONS ONLY

I really liked the demo but the finished product is much better. The graphics are polished up and looks really tight in comparison to the demo. The gameplay is also tighter and a bit smoother. Auto sprint has made me a much much better runner, I really like this feature! The crowd sounds nice and even look really nice from the gameplay perspective at least.

I haven't touched Dynasty or anything until I get full rosters, have the partial ones for now.

Overall, good job EA. NCAA Football 11 is an impressive game. 8.8/10

In practice mode.

on defense right now..i didnt even notice autosprint was on at default until I checked it...It feels much more fluid then the demo.

I hated it in the demo, and turned it off after 1 possesion.

By far my favorite thing on D: CONTROL IS BACK.

I can finally make a impact as a run support safety, and becasue the OL has more distinct movements, I can key off of them, and fill the gap, instead of having to read the damn backfield all of the time, and anticipate.

After about 4 games in, I have no problem calling this game the best Sports game on The Xbox 360. MLB The show is still the best sports game, but watch out, NCAA will give it some real competition...

at this rate, NCAA 12 way just be the best sports game ever created.
