I don't think there is a "shadow" assignment like that but I was wondering the same thing. Anyone know?

I dont understand the logic.... if I can put certain players in on certain packages than why cant I have my top corner cover a perticular WR. Seems like am omission on there half.

Yeah, I think it's a definite must-have.

From what I've seen there is no way to assign a player, but if it helps any I did see a control to spotlight a receiver. I don't know if it was in 10, but it jumped out to me in the demo.

Re: Can you asign coverage??

I know that in past games where they had this feature, if someone used it, it was always easy to tell whether they were playing man or zone coverage. Then again, disguising defenses is already nearly impossible in this generation of EA football games.

A workaround would be to put your #1 CB at safety in a formation. Then manually assign him to man coverage on the receiver every play. But that's cumbersome.

In the demo all you had to do pre-snap was squeeze L2 then press the button of the receiver you want to key. Good luck!
