Different Meter when kicking field goals late in game

Yes I'm new to NCAA, I play madden. So I was just wondering everybodys thoughts on the Pressure Meter at the end of the game, when your trying to kick a field goal or win it. It seems like my opponent callas time out and then this different meter comes on and I can't even see the bar go up. And also it's from the field goal kickers angle so I can't get a good angle on the kick. Just wonderin everbodys thoughts. Maybe this is in the game every year, IDK. I'm not sure what I think about it now, but I'm leading to not liking it.

Thoughts and tips

It's called "ice the kicker" and it's an option you can turn off if you don't like it

Re: Different Meter when kicking field goals late in game

Ya it was, I missed a straight on kick about 35 yards cause I couldn't kick straight. I guess it's kinda cool. But I'm playin with Syracuse and I'm at USC, and I was ready to get the big upset then that happenend. So in overtime I stop him, he gets nothing, then I bring it to the three and it's fourth, and I was just relieved it when in. Geezz, when it popped up, I was like awww nahhhh... I guess I'll keep it on. It is kinda cool, but it's just a little nerve racking.

Thanks Guys!!!

The way the heart beat vibrates the controller and all, it's really cool.

And the funny thing is, I think I'm perfect on ice kicks. But I haven't been iced a whole whole lot. Probably 5 or 6 times.

The camera angle is more damaging than the meter being iced over.

You should know the timing of the kick by heart, so being in the correct position on the field when the time comes is what you have to pay the most attention to.
