The error message is due to a problem with Season Showdown

Mods, feel free to close this if you feel it doesn't need its own thread, but since I've seen this asked about in at least 5 threads (and I think it has gotten at least 2 of its own threads), I figured having a clear place for people to see the answer was better than having it continue to clutter multiple threads.
