3-3-5 Help!!!!!!

Ive been using the 3-3-5 pb and am having some issues but have seen it be a deadly defense by some other people. My main problem is stopping the run with it.

Can you guys help me with some plays and setups out of the 3-3-5 to help my defense.

Love the 3-3-5.
For me it's more about matchups and attacking the right gaps. I move around and try and confuse ol

You need to be willing to blitz liberally..and be good at disguising your fronts manually as well, as pursuing manually.

the amount of blitzing you have to do, is the reason why I prefer baser 4 man line, D's...you may want to try out the 4-2-5 if you find that the 3-3-5 isnt to your liking, yet still want to run a base nickle D.

I actually prefer this defense, I stop the run by blitzing gaps as stated above... defense is nasty when up against 3wr sets and up

I usually run 3-3-5 bear and blitz to stop the run. I like the 3-3-5 the best so far because it can be confusing to offenses when you bring people and drop people... And you have DBs to cover the pass.

as far as the 3-3-5 is concerned and stopping the run especially with improved blocking and run game not a smart idea to sit in zone and not blitz the right gaps

also you can move people closer, use the bear, and also I believe the 3-4 is in there so use that as you get another block shedding tackling LB on the field

with all that said run commit helps and gap stuffing is key along with right personnel as 3-3-5 isn't nor should it be great vs the run so use bigger personnel and packaging like defensive tackles package

be creative lots of interesting packages along with 3-4 and other bigger personnel to help stop the run
