Re: Dual stick controls

Thanks for all the props guys, I use the auto-sprint btw. One thing I've figured out is the right stick really affects your pass rush. Since I've figured that out I can get MUCH better pass rush now and more sacks. Like if you control the defensive tackle on the right side of the screen if you flick the right stick from top to bottom in a half moon motion to the right then they will do a speed rush with the shoulder move that you see so often in the NFL (that Strahan used to use so well).

Oh and there is a way to practice offense only. I just go into practice mode, choose two teams, then once i'm in there pause it and change to offense only via the menu. I'm not sure how you go directly into an "offense only" mode straight from the get go, if anyone knows then please post how.

Re: Dual stick controls

I have found that chopping before you pull a move really throws off the defender.

So tap from side to side then use a move and you get some sick stuff.

Especially with more agile backs like Brandon Saine!

Agreed.

I would think it would work with any sort of agile back like LaMichael James or Noel Devine.

I know, I just said that because we're both Buckeyes fans.

I noticed that. I ran a pitch-out in practice against a particularly unsuitable defense, just so I could iso on a safety or corner and try out some moves. I would stutter step a couple times and then hard juke left or right, and more than half the time he'd end up grabbing air while I made for the endzone.
