Teambuilder Home locations

I have 2 teambuilders (1 main located where I live and 1 for fun and I usually put the fun one in a way-off place. I was looking at locating them in CA (Montreal, to be exact) since no other teams up in Canada and Montreal gets lots of snow....figured I would get games with snow....

So, my questions...

1. If it is snowing in Montreal, will it snow in my game (like whatever weather.com has listed for the day)
2. Does anyone else put their team in Canada and why? (I know the pipeline for Canada is not much but I do have them using powerhouse template which gets them some states)...

Thanks.

Re: Teambuilder Home locations

dynasty mode doesn't do the 'live' weather thing. it uses a database that has common weather for that specific region.

though, I'm not sure how accurate it is, there are usually way to many rain games when I play as Texas Tech.

I'm not exactly sure how it'll do for Canada though.

I did not know that (as far as Dynasty not doing the "live" weather...)

thanks for that info....

So, I wonder if I would get snowy games in Canada or not.....

I always thought that the Weather thing was what the weather was outside your own window, not where the stadium was located in real life. Is that not the case?

I didn't think so...I have played where it is raining outside my house but sunny in the game (if I was playing as, say TN.... and living in NJ myself)....thought it did more with where weather channel had weather as..

It's the Weather Channel live weather for the zip code of the stadium. For example, if you wanted to play an exhibition play now game at Razorback Stadium, assuming you're connect to XBox Live, the real time weather would give you the same weather results as if you went to Weather.com and typed 72701 and searched for weather in that zip code.

Which...right now, looking out my window, it'd be overcast. Maybe rain (it just finished raining).

for play now games, it's based off where the stadium is located.

for dynasty, is based of data of what that region normally gets for that time of year(using the date of the game in dynasty mode)
