Injury Notifications Too Subtle?

I feel like injury notifications are way too subtle. In previous years, Brad Nessler would immediately comment that a player was down, now if you click a button after the play is over (and with the new accelerated clock I see no reason not to) you won't know if a player is injured until you either get the window asking if you want to put him back in, or until you see (if you manage to catch it) the notification above the scoreboard with an update.

Am I missing something, or do I just have to wait after every play to make sure that everyone gets up?

I agree. It seems like a couple times every game I have guys (usually on defense) get hurt and I have no idea until the thing pops up asking me if I want him to be put back in the game.

+1

It seems hit or miss.....I want them to at least say "someone down on the play"

Sometimes you will see a guy rolling around and you get nothing other times it will show a guy limping off or even a cart rolling someone to the locker room.

Seems broken to me....should have a cut scene each time someone is injured....imo.

Re: Injury Notifications Too Subtle?

I agree 1000%

I had my Star FS go down with a 12 week injury and didn't even realize for like 3 games(even thought that is partially my lack of awareness )

I also had a starting DT go out for the season, had no idea. Had my starting QB get knocked out for the season, had no idea except i happened to see him lying motionless on the field.

Basically i've had numerous major injuries that i've had no idea even happened.

Re: Injury Notifications Too Subtle?

If it's a big injury there should be a cut-scene. But I generally know if someone got injured. If it's small then they can have the little subtle notice above the scoreboard.

yea, I hope they can "tweak" this. On occasion I would wonder why my receiver isn't in the lineup, only to find he was injured on the previous play.

yeah I don't even notice until something rolls by at the bottom saying I lost a player for 11 weeks.

Re: Injury Notifications Too Subtle?

I agree. I lost my QB for a couple of plays and when my backup came in I had to go to the injury report and see why my backup was in the game and not my starter.
