Honestly I have a 3 year old and cant wait until he is old enough to play and this situation arises. It is so cool that a video game can teach a valuable life lesson such as taking a loss. I have played the quit card when I was younger and that championship will never feel the way it should if you quit and play it again.

My son is six, and I've had to explain this to him. One day he was playing SmackDown vs Raw, and started crying. He turned to me, and said something about getting beat.

I told him, "it's okay if you lose, as long as you try your best". I told him that in any kind of game, everyone losses, but you have to take that loss well, and keep going.

It is weird to think that video games can teach lessons like that.
