Best stats for quarter length?

What is the best quarter length for realistic stats? I've been using 5 mins on heisman and the scores have been good but my passing stats have been too low. I would like to add more time but I don't want the scoring to get out of control.

It's really an evolving concept. As you add minutes you have to continue to adjust sliders. Try some of the slider sets posted here on OS, and adjust to your liking. I'm using SN's All-American sliders, tweaked to my skill level, and I get great scores and realistic numbers.

I'm having good results at 8 minutes but several has said that 9 minutes may be better. It depends on your style of play.

I use 8 min qtrs and it takes me around 45 minutes to an hour. I used to use 7 minutes but some games went by too quick and I felt rushed to get good stats in.

I've been playing at 8 minutes on Heisman for about five NCAAs now. It works better now b/c of the accelerated playclock.

The games take about 40-50 minutes, depending on different factors. The numbers are very realistic for me, that is, if you're looking for a realistic experience. I don't recommend that setting for those who don't play the game like it was "real," you know?

i use 7 minutes. anything ova 45 minutes per game is too long for me. im tryin to get through a season in atleast 3-4 days
