points in road to glory practice

This may have been asked as I don't browse here much but I created a RB on road to glory. During practices I barely get any points if any. How does those work? Are they only big plays or what? Seems kinda hard. Also, I was promised a starter on Air Force and am second string. what is up with that?

The points determine if you are the starter or not. Usually you get big points for making big plays and TDs. The more points you get the more likely you will be/become the starter.

Re: points in road to glory practice

For running backs...

Catching a pass is 2 points.
Getting a first down is 2 points.
Getting a touchdown is 6 points.

Some of the finesse moves performed on a defender (like juke, spin) are sometimes worth 2 points... although broken tackles and stiff arms that powerbacks have a tendency to do aren't worth any points.

Basically, you need to get first downs, and hope for pass plays.

No. Not that I've seen.

The current system is waaaay bether than before. Before it was way to easy to take over the starting position really quickly. Now you really have to work harder and in a more realistic time frame you can get to the starting role.
