CPU vs CPU can't recover fumble (been going on for over 7 minutes now)

So I'm watching a CPU vs CPU game using SN's 4.3 sliders when the CPU fumbles. No biggie, it's happened in the game before so I thought nothing of it until...

Nobody could pick up the ball. All the players just keep rolling on top of each other and the ball is moving all over the field and nobody can pick it up. This has been going on for well over 7 minutes now but I don't want to end the game.

I'm currently waiting for the ball to go out of bounds or into an endzone so I can upload the highlight to EA.

It just went out of bounds after 15 minutes of fumbling around tossing the ball around the field. I'll see if I can save the video but I don't think so since it won't be a highlight.

I had the same thing happen to me the other day in an offline dynasty game. I also checked the glitch thread and they already have a post about it with vid. The game never ends when this happens watched for five mins then turned game off.

it seems to be a common glitch in football video games. I saw it in backbreaker too. I have not seen it in NCAA 11 yet though, but I remember seeing it in NCAA '08 I believe.
