Running online

Anyone notice that running the ball online seems to be significantly harder than offline? I use the Ace, I, and Gun and I have little success with all 3. My only real success at running are a couple shotgun runs while pinching the line and a couple tosses. Its weird because unlike the CPU, my opponents doesnt know exactly what play I'm running, so I'm often going against only 4 or 5 rushers. Still get very small gains though.

Blockers seem to just get off blocks better and faster than usual. I can put 200+ on the CPU easily. Online I'm lucky to get 80. My opponents have trouble running too, unless they're cheesing some pitch play.

your seeing man coverage all the time. thats why you cant run the ball. man coverage is a beast in this years game. so people exploit it. i havent played one person yet that hasnt loaded the box every down to stop the run.

as long as you dont see any initial defenders waiting on the outside, run counters. work like a charm.

I still have a dreadful time stopping the run. It's cost me quite a few games.

I actually find it a lot easier. I average over 200 yards rushing per game online. I played a guy with Idaho and he was Alabama and I still was able to run for over 100 yards.

bad. I usually run for over 200 yards against bad players but against players that are good its really hard to run between the tackles.

Online forces you to use auto sprint, if you have it off otherwise it can mess with you a bit. I wish the on off option work online too .

I haven't played anyone that actually runs inside. EVERYONE bounces it outside. Almost all the defenders get blocked too, which is annoying. In order for me to stop the run I typically need to bring both safeties down.

Yeah I can run outside well, but anything inside gets shut down, except for 4 WR Halfback Dive, for me and my opponent.
